Position Summary
The Government Projects team is a horizontal team that works with internal and external stakeholders on cross functional projects. The suitable candidate for the position of intern would have demonstrated skills in project management, excellent oral & written communication and stakeholder management. Some of the qualities that the right candidate would have are self-starter, ability to work with ambiguous requirements, perseverance and must be biased towards action. The intern will have a steep learning curve and would be expected to hit the ground running on live projects with Government institutions. This will be a rotational role and you may be assigned to contribute towards the success of multiple projects.
Areas of Work:
The intern will :
- Project manage and coordinate with government stakeholders (including teachers and principals) on conducting a large scale content review exercise
- Prepare structured documents and other collaterals (including presentations, excel sheets etc) as per the requirements for the project
- Prepare progress reports from time-to-time for internal and external reviews
- Create partnerships with a large number of stakeholders through conducting cold calls, facilitating virtual sessions and building health stakeholder relationships
- Manage internal team databases – keeping clean, up-to-date records of project work
Required Qualifications, Skills and Abilities:
- Preference for a candidate with an undergraduate degree or a degree in progress
- Fluency in English and Hindi
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Comfortable managing and working with large spreadsheets of date.
- Ability to work independently and proactively, with minimal supervision
- Can-do’ attitude and openness to learn in ambiguous situations
