Established in 2012, CSF is a non-profit philanthropic foundation committed to ensuring quality school education for all children in India. Their mission is to revamp the school education system, with a focus on improving children’s learning outcomes, particularly in disadvantaged communities.

About the Schools Governance Team:

The Schools Governance team at CSF envisions a reformed school education delivery system that prioritizes accountability and transparency regarding learning outcomes. Their goal is to measure and publicize learning outcomes in both public and private schools. They aim to establish a State Schools Standards Authority to regulate schools based on their achievement of these outcomes.

Position Summary:

As a Project Manager, Assessments, you will be based in Udaipur, Rajasthan, and play a pivotal role in enhancing the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) capacity in developing high-quality competency-based census assessments (CCA). Your responsibilities will include strengthening assessment processes, curriculum framework development, and coordination with various state education departments. This full-time role reports to the Project Lead of the state CSF team.

Key Responsibilities:

Your primary responsibilities will involve:

  • Conducting capacity-building workshops for Rajasthan’s SCERT Assessment Cell
  • Establishing project management processes and guidelines
  • Conducting preliminary research as needed
  • Training personnel in basic technology usage
  • Managing relationships with government stakeholders
  • Collaborating with CSF expert teams
  • Knowledge management and documentation

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in education, development studies, public policy, or social sciences
  • 2 to 6 years of experience in the education sector, including curriculum development, assessment, or content creation
  • Strong interest in the development and education sector
  • Fluency in English and Hindi with proficiency in the local language (if applicable)
  • Experience in handling and analyzing large datasets (spreadsheets or SQL)
  • Past experience with state and district-level governance structures is a plus
  • Project management, program implementation, and research experience
  • Strong stakeholder management, problem-solving, and analytical skills
