About the Role:
As a Performance Testing Intern at Xiaomi, you’ll take center stage in testing the performance of our cutting-edge smartphones and TVs.
- Position: Performance Testing Intern
- Location: Bangalore, India
Role Highlights:
- Execute meticulously crafted test plans for Performance Test cases.
- Set up dynamic and controlled test environments.
- Thoroughly document test results, benchmarking both our devices and competitors’.
- Innovate by designing and implementing development tests informed by user feedback.
- Evaluate and dissect performance test outcomes, analyzing Bug Reports and logs.
- Detect, document, and manage bugs through the lifecycle in JIRA.
- Contribute to enhancing product usability and serviceability.
- Spearhead the evolution and optimization of Automation case development.
- Collaborate closely with Beta users and External users to respond to Android Performance feedback.
- Offer technical assistance in the Android Technology realm.
Your Profile: Unlock the Potential
- Embrace fundamental testing concepts, SDLC, STLC, and the Bug life cycle.
- Possess a solid understanding of Android systems, mobile functionality, and HW module basics.
- A plus if you’re familiar with ADB commands in Android.
- Grasp the basics of bug life cycles, defect tracking systems like Jira, and test rail.
- Experience or knowledge in Android Python, ADB commands, and Ubuntu is a valuable asset.
- Strong communication skills and a keenness to dive into new technologies are crucial.
Qualifications and Experience: Your Path to Success
- Preferably pursuing a B.Tech degree.
- 0 to 1 year of experience in the field.
- Skills in Testing and a foundation in Basic Programming.
