About the Opportunity

 Position:  Junior Manager – Farm Livelihood Technology Group 
Duty Station:  Rudhapadar, Ganjam, Odisha 
Reporting to:  Thematic Manager

Responsibilities 

Management responsibility 

  • Coordinating between Farm Livelihood Technology Group (FLTG) members as per specific project requirements 

Technical responsibility 

  • Technical guidance of FLTG members on Agronomy related aspects 
  • Technical guidance of FLTG members on Technology related aspects 

Skills and Competencies 

Management skills 

  • Ability to coordinate between team members 
  • Documentation skills to prepare village specific report 

Technical skills 

  • Understanding of Soil characteristics and related cropping compatibility 
  • Ability to facilitate training sessions for rural communities 
  • Understanding of latest Technology which can used to support Livelihoods 
  • Desirable qualities include willingness to travel extensively in the field and contribute to the core work of Gram Vikas. 

Educational Qualification 

  • Bachelors in a field related to Agriculture or Agricultural Engineering 

Work Experience 

  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in a rural development organisation.
  • This experience can be- Agricultural guidance, monitoring and reporting 
  • Includes being part of or leading a technical team

  • Starting CTC will be ₹ 4.20 lakh per annum

  • Accommodation will be provided in the field locations.
