Navjyoti India Foundation is a not-for-profit society, registered in 1988 by then 16 serving police officers of Delhi Police and conceived by Dr. Kiran Bedi, first Indian woman IPS, and her team of North district police, with the main objective of crime prevention through welfare policing, education of street children, vocational skills for women drug peddlers and de-addiction programs were its initiating projects.Over the last 34 years, we have been working relentlessly to bring about qualitative behavioural change and impact lives of the under-served in need in the urban slums of northwest Delhi and rural villages and peri-urban spaces of District Gurugram, Haryana. Our bottom-up approach of inclusive development and self-motivation has touched millions of lives and has moved us on to the path of sustainable development through our programs in Child Education, Women Empowerment, Skill Up-gradation for Youth, Community Development, and Environment.

  • Job Description: Coordinator – Development Communications
  • Position: Full Time (Contractual)
  • Minimum Qualifications: Post Graduate in Development Communications/Communications
  • Experience: 1 to 2 years
  • Location: Nayagaon, Sohna Block, Gurugram, Haryana
  • Salary: INR 3,60,000 per annum
  • Date of Joining: Immediate

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan communication strategies as per the needs of the projects
  • Effective branding and promotion of programs and projects through social media marketing, public relations, communications, offline methods and other channels
  • Writing, designing and development of creatives, reports, manuals, press release, newsletters
  • Writing content for the websites, social media platforms and other communication materials such as mass emailers etc.
  • Facilitating marketing campaigns for promotion of products handcrafted by rural artisans at National and International platforms
  • Assist in putting up stalls at corporates and Embassies for marketing of products
  • Guiding volunteers and interns and facilitating employee volunteering activities
  • Planning and organizing events and celebrations as per the event calendar
  • Maintain archives, photographs and related files for all the communication material i.e., print, audio and video for easy and quick retrieval of data and information
  • Assist Director in maintaining internal and external communications
