As given in the official notification of UPSC Recruitment 2023, the maximum age limit for Specialist Grade-III, Senior Assistant Controller and Assistant Professor/ Lecturer is 40 years and for Assistant Surgeon/ Medical Officer is 35 years.

Age Limit for UPSC Recruitment 2023:
- For Specialist Grade-III, Senior Assistant Controller and Assistant Professor/ Lecturer-The upper age limit is 40 years.
Salary for UPSC Recruitment 2023:
- For Specialist Grade-III, Senior Assistant Controller- Candidates selected for the given posts will get a monthly salary in pay level 11 of the pay matrix as per the 7th CP.
- For Assistant Surgeon/ Medical Officer and Assistant Professor/ Lecturer- Candidates selected for the given posts will get a monthly salary in pay level 10 of the pay matrix as per the 7th CP.
Qualification for UPSC Recruitment 2023:
- For Specialist Grade-III (Microbiology or Bacteriology)- Doctor of Medicine (Bacteriology) or Diplomate National Board (Bacteriology) Doctor of Medicine (Microbiology) or Diplomate National Board (Microbiology) or a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery with a Master of Science (Medical Bacteriology) or Master of Science (Medical Microbiology) with Doctor of Philosophy (Medical Bacteriology) etc.
- For Specialist Grade-III (Pathology)- Doctor of Medicine (Pathology) or Diplomate National Board (Pathology) Doctor of Philosophy (Pathology) or Doctor of Science (Pathology).
- For Assistant Surgeon/ Medical Officer- A recognized medical qualification included in the First Schedule, Second Schedule, or Part II of the Third Schedule.
- Senior Assistant Controller of Mines- Bachelor of Engineering or Technology in Mining Engineering from a recognized University or Institution.
- For Assistant Professor/ Lecturer (Anatomy)- Postgraduate qualification in Homeopathy.

- Last date for submitting the application form is 29.06.23.
- The last date for printing the online application form is 30.06.23.
Application Fee for UPSC Recruitment 2023:
- In accordance with the official notification of UPSC Recruitment 2023, candidates have to pay Rs. 25 as an application fee and Female/SC/ST/Persons with Benchmark Disability candidates are exempted from payment of fee.
