Job Description: Team Lead – Transportation at Amazon

We are currently looking for a Team Lead to join our Transportation team at Amazon.
- Define, build, and execute transportation processes, spanning from Fulfillment Centers (FC) to customers, while harnessing our Sort Center network.
- Assume responsibility for hiring, training, and cultivating a highly motivated workforce for the Sort Center (SC) teams. Collaborate with HR and the training team to meet operational requirements and consistently uphold high standards of quality and productivity.
- Coordinate with Finance, Customer Service (CS), Fulfillment Centers (FC), and Projects teams on matters related to SC operations.
- Continuously enhance the SC process to maintain a high level of performance. Initiate improvements to elevate quality standards, reduce waste, and eliminate unnecessary tasks.
- Analyze data reports to pinpoint performance bottlenecks and implement improvements.
- Implement formal process control and process improvement mechanisms, such as Kaizen.

- Bachelor’s degree
- Proficiency in spoken and written English
- Experience using Microsoft Office products and applications
- Prior experience in an operational role
