Job Description:
- Identifying and analysing trends and forecasts and recommending improvements to the organisation’s process
- Research and analyse current benchmark trends according to the preference of the target audience
- Researching market trends, conducting surveys, analysing data from competitors, and analysing the organisation’s operations to identify patterns of potential issues or improvements.
- Organising and storing data for future research projects.
- Ability to recommend changes in services and share strategies by evaluating results and competitive developments.
- Conducting market research and identifying potential clients.
- Researching organisations and individuals to find new opportunities.
- Build alliances and partnerships with other organisations (NGOs or Social Enterprises).
- Assist with drafting business plans, sales pitches, presentations, reference material, and other documents as required.
- Ideate and organise advocacy initiatives such as webinars, conferences, lectures, workshops etc.
- Develop written and visual content for newsletters, websites, social media, and advocacy initiatives.
Skills Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, statistics or related field.
- Experience in applied research or data management may be advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and tech savvy.
- Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Good analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
- Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent writing skills will be an advantage.
