Job Description: Operations Associate – Enhance Amazon’s Payment Services
At Amazon Payments, we facilitate secure online transactions using various payment methods, including credit cards, net-banking, cash on delivery, and electronic gift certificates. Our software platform processes over 20 payment methods worldwide, serving thousands of merchants, including Amazon.in. The Operations Team plays a crucial role in processor performance, cashback management, reconciliations, and customer refunds. We drive operational efficiency, automation, and policy implementation while fostering relationships with third-party payment partners to elevate customer experiences.
Position Overview: Acceptance Operations
This position is an integral part of the Acceptance operations for Amazon’s A.IN marketplace. As a member of this team, you’ll focus on real-time monitoring of payment success rates, utilizing dashboards and alarms. Your role will encompass critical activities that ensure a seamless payment experience for customers. Collaborate closely with Product, Tech, Data Engineering, and Analytics teams to troubleshoot and implement long-term solutions. External interactions with stakeholders like Processors and Banks will be essential. Drive process improvements, manage substantial data, and automate non-value-added steps using RPA (Robotic Process Automation). This role requires proactive problem-solving, the ability to work with extensive data, and driving projects to completion. Interface with various internal teams in an agile environment alongside the program manager.
Qualifications and Traits:
- 1-3 years of experience in operations, e-commerce, or retail
- Ability to collaborate across diverse teams
- Working knowledge of Excel; willingness to learn database applications and analysis tools
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, presenting insights effectively
- Proven capability in defining scalable processes and continuous improvement

- Experience with Excel and Microsoft Office applications
