About the Training Programme
The Orissa Economics Association (orissaea.in) is conducting an Online Training Programme for early-stage research scholars to train them to write a research proposal. The programme is meant for PhD scholars who are in their course work phase and final year Master’s students planning to apply for a PhD programme.

Who Can Apply?
- PhD students doing their course work.
- Final year Master’s students planning to pursue a PhD degree.
- Early career lecturers/assistant professors planning to pursue a PhD degree.
Date of the Training Programme
- May 22, 2022 (Sunday) 10 am to 6 pm
Selection Procedure
- Candidates will be selected based on the quality of their write-ups submitted.
Fees (if any)
- No Fees. It’s FREE of COST.
Certificate of Participation
- Candidates who attend and actively participate in all sessions will be provided digital certificates of participation.
How to Apply

- Please upload a write-up (about 300 words) with the following:
- A tentative title of your proposed research topic. (Maximum 14 words). An introduction to the topic. (Maximum 100 words).
- Why do you want to do research on this topic? (Maximum 100 words).
- What are the research problems/questions/concerns that you want to engage with? (Maximum 100 words).
