About the Organisation
Jagriti is a 20-year old non-profit with an objective of building entrepreneurship ecosystems in Tier 2/3 India. It has a three-pillar strategy to achieve its mission.
The first pillar is Jagriti Yatra – is a 15-day entrepreneurship train journey program to inspire youth to become entrepreneurs. In the last 15 years, it has impacted more than 7500 youth, 28% of them turning into entrepreneurs.
The second pillar is JADE – Jagriti Ambassador for District Entrepreneurs, which is an entrepreneurship outreach program across Tier 2/3 districts of India, executed by the alumni of Jagriti Yatra.
The third pillar is Jagriti Enterprise Centre – Purvanchal (JECP) – an innovation and incubation ecosystem in Purvanchal (eastern Uttar Pradesh) to support local entrepreneurs and innovators). The ecosystem is designed as a hub-and-spoke model across 15 districts of Purvanchal. The hub is a 1 Lakh+ sq ft worldclass Centre in Deoria with facilities like co-working spaces, multipurpose hall, and centers of excellence.
The spokes are district offices, manned by Udyam Corps and Mitra – the last-mile connectors and facilitators of local enterprises.
1. Director Incubation – Jagriti Enterprise Centre – Purvanchal (JECP)
