About the Parliamentarian
Pradyut Bordoloi is an Indian politician who currently serves as a Member of Parliament for the Nowgong constituency. He was a candidate of the Indian National Congress party and a former Minister of State. He has a long-standing political career, having previously been a member of the Assam Legislative Assembly also with the Indian National Congress party.
During his tenure as a Member of the Legislative Assembly from Margherita, he had the privilege of being elected four consecutive times. He also served as a minister in the Tarun Gogoi-led government and was the spokesperson of the state government until 2016.
