The Centre for Gender and Environment is looking for individuals who can join them to work towards a more equitable and just society by bringing awareness and supporting and empowering women in accessing entitlements. Supporting communities and organizations in protecting resources and defending their livelihoods interlinked with the environment.

  • 2 (Two)

Location 

  • Lucknow / Remote ( Uttar Pradesh)

Duration of Internship

  • Six Weeks with possible extension 

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Write, and analyze in-depth research reports /facts sheets relating to socio-legal issues with the right-based approach
  • Drafting petitions on human rights issues (women’s rights, agriculture,environment, and health)
  • Conducting legal research on environmental issues.
  • Data collection at the field level; identify and understand agricultural policies and implementation
  • Document and draft research reports.
  • Comfortable in conducting field research in challenging situations in rural settings,and researching socio-legal issues.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Graduate 
  • Good communication skills in English and Hindi
  • Proficiency with MS Office products, database management, and other computer applications
