Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology Allahabad (MNNIT or NIT Allahabad), formerly Motilal Nehru Regional Engineering College (MNREC), is a publictechnical university located in Prayagraj (Allahabad), Uttar Pradesh, India. About the Recruitment

Applications are invited for the posts of Research Assistant (RA) and Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the Department of Civil Engineering, MNIT Jaipur for Ministry of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation, Govt. of India; funded research project entitled “Climate Change Impact Studies for Rajasthan (Area of Inland Drainage and Mahi Basin”.

  • Junior Research Fellow (02)
  • Research Assistant (02)

Qualifications

For JRF

  • First division (60% or equivalent CGPA) in B.Tech. (Civil/ Agriculture)/ M.Tech. (Water Recourses/ Remote sensing/ Agriculture/ Hydrology/ Geomatics Engineering/ Disaster Assessment/ Civil Engineering).
  • Experience as a project trainee/ assistant beyond minimum requirement and having experience related to Hydrological Modeling/ Climate Change Impact assessment/ Crop function development/ water quality monitoring.

For RA

  • First division (60% or equivalent CGPA) in B.Tech. (Civil/ Agriculture/ CSE/ IT) and M.Tech. (Water Recourses Engineering/ Remote sensing/ Hydrology/ DAM/ Agriculture/ Geomatics) with 3 year relevant experience or Ph.D. in relevant discipline.
  • One paper in SCI Journal.

Duration

  • Twelve months or project duration whichever is earlier.

Remuneration

  • Junior Research Fellow: Rs 25,000/- +HRA
  • Research Assistant: Rs 36,000/- or Rs. 38,000/-or Rs. 40,000/- +HRA depending upon qualification
