Indian Institute of Technology Ropar (IIT Ropar) is a public technical university located in Rupnagar, Punjab, India. It is one of the eight newer Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India under The Institutes of Technology (Amendment) Act, 2011 to expand the reach and enhance the quality of technical education in the country.

Applications are invited for Summer Internship Programme for 5 to 8 weeks commencing from May 23 to July 18, 2022 without any fellowship. Internship will be in virtual mode. The students are required to apply online.

Eligibility

  • IITS, NITS, IISERs, National Labs, Centrally funded technical Institutions, CEAS, Government Universities, Private institutions/Universities. Indian Academy of Sciences, DST Inspire or Similar organization.
  • The department may select the students on the basis of area of interest of student/ faculty, academic credentials etc. and no. of seats available for summer internship.
