Roles and Responsibilities
We are offering an exciting internship opportunity for ambitious individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the venture capital sector. This role provides a unique chance to understand the intricacies of venture capital financing, startup evaluation, and strategic investment decision-making.
Please note this is an on-site position for our office in Mumbai.
1. Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct in-depth research on emerging market trends, new technologies, and potential investment opportunities.
- Assist in the analysis of startup pitches and business plans.
2. Portfolio Support:
- Provide support to our portfolio companies, including market analysis, competitive landscaping, and various operational tasks.
- Assist in organizing and facilitating events and meetings between portfolio companies and potential clients or partners.
3. Investment Process Assistance:
- Help in preparing investment memos and presentations for internal discussions.
- Participate in due diligence processes, including financial analysis and industry research.
4. Administrative Support:
- Perform administrative tasks as needed, including scheduling meetings, preparing documents, and maintaining records.
5. Learning and Development:
- Attend investment meetings and participate in relevant workshops and training sessions.
- Receive mentorship from experienced venture capital professionals.
Eligibility
- Current students or professionals in engineering, chartered accountancy, or MBA programs, especially those with pertinent work experience.
- Individuals with a proven passion for venture capital, startups, emerging technologies,and innovative business models.
- Excellent analytical, research, and communication skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and able to quickly adapt to new software tools.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Applicants must have legal authorization to work in India.
