Are you looking for a government job? Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced a bumper opening with 1500+ vacancies for the post of Havaldar and Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS).

These vacancies are available in various Ministries/Departments/Offices of the Government of India, as well as in Constitutional Bodies/Statutory Bodies/Tribunals across different States/Union Territories. Post Name and Vacancies for SSC Recruitment 2023:

According to the official notification of SSC Recruitment 2023, there are a total of 1558 vacancies. The distribution of vacancies is as follows:

  • Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS): 1198 vacancies
  • Havaldar: 360 vacancies

Qualification Required for SSC Recruitment 2023:

  • To be eligible for the SSC Recruitment 2023, candidates must have passed the Matriculation Examination or its equivalent from a recognized Board.
  • However, please note that degrees, diplomas, and certificates obtained through open and distance learning from institutions recognized as universities under the University Grants Commission Act, 1956, and institutions of national importance declared by an Act of Parliament will be accepted only if they are recognized for the relevant time period during which the candidates obtained the qualification.
  • During the document verification process, candidates will be required to provide original certificates, such as mark sheets and provisional certificates, as proof of having acquired the minimum educational qualification on or before the stipulated date.

Age Limit for SSC Recruitment 2023:

  • The minimum age requirement for the SSC Recruitment 2023 is 18 years.
  • The maximum age limit for the post of MTS and Havaldar in CBN is 25 years, while for the post of Havaldar in CBIC and certain posts of MTS, the maximum age limit is 27 years.

Salary for SSC Recruitment 2023:

  • Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary based on the pay scale level 1.

  • Starting date of online application: 30.06.2023
  • Last date for filling the online application form: 21.07.2023
  • Correction window: 26.07.2023 to 28.07.2023

Selection Process for SSC Recruitment 2023:

  • Candidates will be selected through a Computer Based Examination. For the post of Havaldar, there will also be a Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST).
  • The Computer Based Examination will consist of two sessions, both of which must be attempted. Failure to attempt any session will result in disqualification.

Application Fees for SSC Recruitment 2023:

  • Candidates applying for the SSC Recruitment 2023 are required to pay an application fee of Rs. 100.
  • However, women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Disabilities (PwBD), and Ex-servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempted from the payment of the fee.
  • The fee can be paid online through various modes or by generating an SBI Challan for cash payment.
