What You’ll Be Doing
- Be an outstanding designer – innovative, fast, creative, communicative, and able to contribute effectively in meetings.
- Work on a User Experience Design Project for a duration of six months.
- Conduct insights, empathy-mapping, and user journey mapping.
- Collaborate with user researchers, engineers, product managers, and visual designers to craft optimal designs.
- Contribute positively to design assets visually, verbally, and in writing.
- Build user journey maps and information architecture for applications.
- Engage in market research, ethnography studies, and contextual inquiry to gain valuable insights.
- Participate in brainstorming and conceptualization with team members from UX and engineering.
- Prototype low, medium, and high-fidelity mocks.
- Write documentation for product definition.
- Review design and prepare compelling reports.
What We Need to See
- Currently enrolled in a Masters in Design program at a reputable institute (IIT/NID).
- Experience in conceptual design, prototyping, tactical UI design, and the software development process.
- Design portfolio showcasing user experience projects for Desktop, Mobile, and Web Applications (Win, Android, MacOS, iOS).
- Proficiency in crafting sketches, mind maps, and storyboards for brainstorming.
- Understanding of user issues, insights, and detailed documentation.
- Ability to use metrics and user research data to influence design direction.
- Capability to consider and apply business objectives to design work.
- Proficient in at least one prototyping tool such as Figma, Sketch, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Familiarity with desktop and cloud documentation tools like Microsoft Office, Google Drive, and SharePoint.
Ways to Stand Out from the Crowd
- Ability to create UX quick prototypes through sketching.
- Proficiency in prototyping tools like HTML5, Figma, Sketch, Adobe Suite.
- Demonstrated skills in user experience animation.
- Experience in Heuristics Research.
- Previous involvement in user research following industry-standard methods.
