Role and Responsibilities

  • The IBM Sustainability Software business unit is seeking talented and motivated Software Developers to work on the Maximo Application Suite product. 
  • In this role as a backend developer, you will be responsible for gaining a comprehensive understanding of our product functionalities. 
  • You will actively engage in requirement gathering, ensuring that we capture the needs and expectations of our customers. 
  • Your expertise will be instrumental in addressing defects and implementing enhancements, ultimately delivering new releases and patches of the highest quality. 
  • Throughout this process, you will collaborate extensively with a diverse range of stakeholders. 
  • This includes Product Owners, Architects, Release Managers, Designers, Support Business Partners, and our valued customers. 
  • By fostering strong relationships and effective communication, you will play a crucial role in aligning everyone’s efforts towards the successful evolution of our product portfolio.

Required Technical Skill Sets

  • Python
  • Java experience
  • Knowledge of Github or Jira
  • Knowledge of Cloud technologies
