About the Organisation

SEWA Bharat is a federation of women-led institutions providing economic and social support to women in the informal economy. SEWA Bharat is part of the national SEWA movement and was established in 1984. SEWA Bharat emerged out of the need to address the SEWA movement’s challenges with geographical expansion and coordination. SEWA Bharat is a family of SEWA organizations to further informal women workers’ rights, livelihoods, financial independence, education, health, and social security.

About Women Enterprise Support System (WESS)

Women Enterprise Support System (WESS) is a program at SEWA Bharat, designed to support grassroots women-owned collective enterprises run by women in the informal economy in India. The intervention provides in-depth support to collective enterprises in the areas of access to finance, strategic planning, compliance, and marketing to make these enterprises profitable and sustainable in the long run. WESS has a small yet enthusiastic team of professionals who are passionate about promoting women’s economic empowerment with a network of industry mentors, working under the guidance of an advisory board of SEWA leaders and professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

Social Media Management:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with goals of the women worker-owned enterprises across all social media channels.
  • Create engaging and shareable content for various social media platforms.
  • Schedule and monitor posts to ensure consistent online presence.
  • Respond to comments, messages, and engage with the online community.
  • Maintain a consistent brand voice and identity across all content.

Campaign Ideation and Execution:

  • Brainstorm, plan, and execute digital marketing campaigns to promote the enterprises.
  • Collaborate with the team to align campaigns with the organization’s mission and values.
  • Monitor campaign performance and provide insights for continuous improvement. Online Platform Upkeep:
  • Manage and update accounts on platforms such as Google My Business,
  • Tripadvisor, Booking.com and other platforms used by the enterprises.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date information is available on all platforms.
  • Respond to customer reviews and feedback in a timely and professional manner.

Analytics and Reporting:

  • Utilize analytics tools to track the performance of digital marketing efforts.
  • Provide regular reports on key metrics, audience engagement, and campaign success.
  • Use data-driven insights to optimize strategies for better results.

Key Skills Required

  • Strong grasp of Instagram and Facebook, adept at leveraging social media platforms.
  • Familiarity with Google My Business and other platforms like – Tripadvisor, Booking.com, shopify, etc. for effective account management, will be preferable.
  • The candidate will assist the enterprises with tasks which will require skills in graphic design, video production, and photography.
  • In-depth understanding of digital marketing trends and implementation of innovative strategies.
  • Proficient in analytics tools and data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative thinker with a knack for out-of-the-box ideas.
  • Efficient coordination with multiple stakeholders for online campaigns.
  • Will need to travel to the field whenever required.

Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or a graduate from one of these programs.
  • Oral and written fluency in both Hindi and English is mandatory.

Duration:

  • 6 months
  • Part-time

Compensation:

  • 10,000 to 15,000 per Month
