Centre for Community Medicine, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi  is inviting applications for the project staff on ad-hoc basis to work in an ICMR funded Research project “COVID-19 vaccine acceptance and uptake: an implementation research among tribal, rural and urban communities in selected districts of four Indian states”

Scientist  (Non-Medical)

  • No. of Position: 5 posts
  • Location: One each for the states of Andhra Pradesh, Jharkhand, Kerala and Madhya Pradesh and One for Delhi.
  • Qualification: Ph.D. or First Class M.A./M.Sc in Anthropology/ Social Work/ Public Health/other related subjects with 3 years research experience.
  • Upper age limit:  As per the AIIMS rules  45 years (relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, for physically handicapped up to 10 years and 15 years for SC/ST, 13 years for OBC) 
  • Salary:  Rs. 48,000 + HRA per month 

Research Assistants  (12 posts) 

  • No. of Position: 12 posts
  • Location: Three each for the states of Andhra Pradesh, Jharkhand, Kerala and Madhya Pradesh.
  • Qualification: MA/MSc./MPhil in Anthropology/Social Work/ Public Health/other related subjects with experience in community health.
  • Upper age limit:  As per the AIIMS rules  30 years (relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC; for physically handicapped up to 10 years and 15 years for SC/ST, 13 years for OBC) 
  • Salary: Rs. 31,000 per month (consolidated) 

Other Important Details

  • The project implementation areas are tribal, rural and urban areas of selected districts in the states of Andhra Pradesh, Jharkhand, Kerala and Madhya Pradesh.
  • The selected candidates are to stay in the respective field areas for conducting field works. 
  • Fluency in local language of the respective area/state is compulsory. 
  • Candidates with experience in community health surveys in tribal, rural and urban areas are preferred.
