Foundations : Ecosystem and Policy Advisory
Sattva has ongoing work with several leading Global, Regional, Domestic Foundations and Multilateral organisations to create evidence and curate dialogue for policy action. Sattva’s Ecosystem and Policy Advisory practice enables foundations to amplify their influence and impact through ecosystem engagement and policy research and advisory.
We enhance portfolio performance for funders, engage the ecosystem through convenings, knowledge creation and dissemination, facilitate collaboration between funders, implementation organisations, and facilitate policy research, advisory and policy engagement and communication with Central, State and District Governments.

About the Opportunity:
- The Analyst will be expected to begin immediately on a project with the Government of Telanaga where they will be responsible for interviewing and documenting case studies of impact made and lives improved through a particular government scheme.
- Can be based out of anywhere but will be required to be in Rural Telangana for 3 weeks out of the 12 week project.
- The Analyst will play a key role in Ecosystem and Policy Advisory projects at the Foundations Unit in Sattva.
- In this role, they will work closely with Government officials directly, to conduct rigorous research, data analysis, report writing and strategy design.
- They will also be responsible to conceptualize and create knowledge products, curate meaningful ecosystem engagement in the philanthropic and corporate ecosystems, and work to support the policy advocacy and ecosystem engagement work of leading Foundations with government institutions.
Eligibility
We are looking for individuals who align with our mission and meet the following requirements::
- Master’s degree in economics, social work, development or management studies will be preferred
- 0-2 years of experience in consulting or policy research and advisory roles in social enterprises, consulting firms or global foundations
- Has working proficiency in Telugu and can read, write and converse in the language fluently
- Willing to conduct primary research and travel across the state of Telangana
- Strong writing and reporting expertise demonstrated through white papers, and research reports
- Prior experience in a client facing role and stakeholder management, with exposure to government stakeholders
- Expertise in policy research, analysis and communications in India
