RightShip is seeking a Legal Intern to assist in contracts review and the implementation of a contracts register.

Responsibilities

  • Peruse historical contracts on Salesforce platform to extract relevant information and fill into register
  • Work closely with legal counsel to resolve issues related to construct and interpretation of contracts and to rectify errors identified in contract register and working files
  • Collaborate with Salesforce system analyst to design and implement a dynamic contract register on Salesforce platform
  • Conduct trials on Salesforce platform to ensure that the contract register is ready to go live
  • Assist with other day-to-day legal and administrative matters as may be necessary

Requirements

  • LLB graduates or law school students
  • Good understanding of contract law principles and ability to apply legal mind
  • Conscientious, meticulous and well-organised, and possess good interpersonal skills
  • Predominantly remote work arrangement with communications and coaching via Microsoft Teams and email
  • Able to commence ASAP
