About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated Program Manager for Amazon Saheli with strong business acumen to drive success for Saheli sellers, drive new initiatives, manage partnerships & alliances with govt/non-govt bodies, liaise with senior govt officials, scale awareness, engagement and adoption of Saheli program among Indian customers as well as in the seller ecosystem. This is a high visibility role in a fast-growing team that offers a great opportunity to work across many different internal and external stakeholders to support our mission to help small businesses succeed.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is energized by a fast-paced and highly entrepreneurial environment. Ability to problem solve in high ambiguity, creating a long-term vision & roadmap, and delivering results will set this person apart. The candidate will possess strong business development and account management skills, analytical acumen, great negotiation skills, high degree of ownership and integrity, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate should have the ability to drive consensus across multiple stakeholders in a highly matrixed organization.

The role will require coordination with sales, marketing, public policy, PR, legal, finance, seller marketing, category and other cross functional teams. Operating in a rapidly changing environment will require the candidate to be adept at dealing with ambiguous, new and challenging situations. This is an individual contributor role.

Key Job Responsibilities

1. Program management: Co-own and drive business goals along with sales team, build program roadmap, execution plan, define seller & customer experience
2. Seller Value proposition: Own the Program proposition to ensure we remain IC competitive while offering the right set of benefits
3. Partnerships & Alliances: Drive and manage partnerships with key govt/non govt organizations to amplify the voice of Saheli program in the policy corridors. 
4. Seller experience: Co-own the seller onboarding experience, and drive seller awareness, engagaement and adoption for Saheli.
5. Business Development – Build and convey Saheli value propositions to seller partners of all sizes.Manage the seller relationship by championing the seller’s needs at Amazon. Build strong communication channels at all levels of the seller’s organization
6. Account Management – Manage and drive seller success for key accounts. Build strategic growth plan that delivers on key business opportunities for the seller and Amazon. 
7. New initiatives: Brainstorm and program manage new growth initiatives. Continuously engage with sellers and internal teams to ideate on new initiatives for seller success. 
8. Customer Experience: Co-own the customer experience along with sales & marketing team to drive discoverability and provide hassle free shopping experience to customers to buy products from women led businesses
9. Business analytics: conduct deep dive analysis and own the weekly/monthly/quarterly reviews with leadership

Eligibility

  • Experience analyzing data and best practices to assess performance drivers
  • 2+ years relevant experience in sales
  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA is preferred
  • 2+ years’ experience in Program management/ partnerships & alliances/ category management/ business development
  • Demonstrated Analytical ability, results-oriented environment with external customer interaction.
  • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills and the ability to express thoughts logically and succinctly.
  • Entrepreneurial drive and demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in an innovative and fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of e-commerce.
  • Working knowledge of MS Excel
  • Past experience working with government/social sector is a plus

Preferred Qualification

  • Relevant work experience in new product/program development/ strategy development/ category management in the e-commerce industry or in the SMB space.
  • Experience dealing with governments, policy makers, or public relations
  • High threshold for working and thriving in an ambiguous, fast paced environment
  • Proficiency with SQL and experience working with large data-sets
  • Strong bias for action with ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated comfort dealing with ambiguity
