IUCN Leaders forum in Korea is an excellent opportunity for gathering leaders and change-makers worldwide. The in-person event will be held in Jeju, Korea, to discuss innovative solutions to critical global challenges.

This fully-funded leadership forum encourages people to promote such projects, which foster inclusivity, equity, and collaboration. This first edition of the free IUCN Leaders forum is organized with the assistance of the Korean Ministry and will be held in Jeju, Republic of Korea. The multiple avenues of the partnership will be provided to the change-makers in the form of high-level plenaries, business meetings, and networking. People will get the chance to listen to the high-profile speakers from various sectors of nature conservation and sustainable development and also be able to speak on the forum. This fully-funded summit aims to address the issue that global leaders understand halting biodiversity loss is critical. Therefore, it is high time to reverse this emerging problem to protect the planet’s carrying capacity.

Eligibility Criteria of the IUCN Leaders Forum in Korea 2022:

  • Everyone from any nationality can apply.
  • Age should be between 18 to 35 years.
  • Have a firm grip in the fields of nature conservation, climate change, biodiversity, and sustainable development with strong leadership skills.
  • Innovative and passionate about the aforementioned fields.
  • Should be working on innovative projects, that will bring positive developments.
  • The projects should foster equity, inclusivity, and collaboration.
  • The projects should adopt a human-rights approach.
