Anthill Ventures is hiring for an Analyst position in the UrbanTech vertical. The candidate will be doing everything from sourcing startups and doing research on potential investments to investment documentation & facilitation to scaling support on all aspects of strategy, product, team, ops, marketing, etc.

Roles & Responsibilities:
This is a role within the UrbanTech vertical at Anthill and is focused on sourcing and growing startups in the space of smart city technologies, sustainability, proptech, and climatetech.
- Participating end-to-end in the investment process including sourcing startups (Market research, Competitive analysis, Business model analysis), investing in startups (Investment memo, Presentation, Due diligence, Documentation), and scaling support (Market access, Mentorship, Hiring, Marketing, Sales, Product, etc)
- Maintain strong relationships with founders and make thoughtful introductions on their behalf to potential investors, clients, and mentors
- Communicate the unique value proposition of Anthill to startup founders, corporates, mentors, and onboard them onto the portfolio and speed scaling ecosystem respectively
- Can also involve broader secondary research on different sectors to understand emerging markets and predict the next set of companies to invest in
Required Experience, Qualifications and Skills:
- (0-2) years of experience. Candidates with startup, accelerator/ incubator or VC experience are preferred
- Expertise or keen to develop expertise in emerging technologies & business models in Urban Tech, Smart City Technologies, Prop Tech, Sustainability, Climate Tech, etc
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and savvy with making presentations, maintaining spreadsheets, etc
- Experience doing market research, investment research, financial analyses, and have an understanding of business and revenue models
