About the Program

Uttar Pradesh State Rural Livelihood Mission (UPSRLM) has partnered with Transforming Rural India Foundation (TRIF) to strengthen their ongoing efforts towards creating sustainable livelihood enhancements for the rural poor. The initiative is centered around scaling up UPSRLM’s operational model for empowering and mobilizing rural communities. The effort is to pilot and demonstrate intensive action around livelihoods in selected blocks within the overall 78 blocks of engagement with the UPSRLM. The pilot will focus on not only developing an effective model at the block level but also scale up successes from existing 10 blocks to 78 blocks and then across the entire operational area of UPSRLM consisting of over 300 blocks.
