The Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL) is a global research center working to reduce poverty by ensuring that policy is informed by scientific evidence. Anchored by a network of 194 affiliated professors at universities around the world, J-PAL conducts randomized impact evaluations to answer critical questions in the fight against poverty.
About the Opportunity
The HR Team at J-PAL South Asia is looking for an intern to support the communication portfolio for the team. The Intern will be based out of J-PAL South Asia’s New Delhi office.
Key responsibilities:
- 1. Studying design briefs and determining requirements.
- 2. Conceptualizing visuals and designing event flyers and communication material based on requirements.
- 3. Preparing rough drafts and presenting ideas.
- 4. Developing illustrations and other designs using the software.
- 5. Use the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic.
- 6. Test graphics across various media.
- 7. Amending designs after feedback.
- 8. Ensuring final graphics and layout are visually appealing and on brand
Qualification and Skills:
- Degree/Diploma courses in design and animation.
- Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as Canva, InDesign, Illustrator, and Coral Photoshop.)
