Maharashtra National Law University, Mumbai was established under the Maharashtra National Law University Act 2014 on March 20th , 2014. The Act envisaged the establishment of a National Law University in Maharashtra to impart advanced legal education and promote society-oriented research in legal studies for the advancement of societal life of the people of the country.
Maharashtra National Law University Mumbai’s Centre for Research in Criminal Justice is dedicated to effecting meaningful change within the Criminal Justice System, and we do so through a three-pronged approach: Research, Education, and Action.
In close collaboration with academics, policymakers, and researchers, our organization works tirelessly to ensure that every young person, regardless of their background, has access to inclusive and high-quality learning opportunities.
