About the Organisation
The Indian Agricultural Research Institute (ICAR-IARI) known to farmers as Pusa Institute is the pioneering institution set up in 1905, now a constituent institute of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) in the Department of Agricultural Research & Education of the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare, Government of India.
The Zonal Technology Management and Business Promotion Development (ZTM-BPD) Unit is the one-stop show window of ICAR-IARI to connect public sector agri-technologies to the corporate world and medium and small enterprises (MSMEs) in a business mode giving due importance to the intellectual property management, commercialization and incubation. The aim is to encourage, protect, market and license the technologies developed by agricultural scientists to the industry with a focus on incubation process including Start-Ups and Farmer Producer Organizations (FPO).

Remuneration
- Rs.70,000/- Per Month
- With *10 % annual increment as per guideline of NIDHI- TBI, DST.
Duration
- Contract basis for a period up to 31.03.2023 or period till termination of the project whichever is earlier.

Eligibility
- Masters’s in any discipline from UGC recognized institute/ universities with
- 2 years of experience preferably in technology commercialization/ supported incubators/ Assessment and evaluation of projects startups projects and organizing workshops and training, awareness programs to promote Agri- startups.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Work closely with the CEO to ensure the day-to-day smooth running and implementation of all aspects of the incubator.
- Help in establishing, running & promoting Pusa Krishi Incubator providing continual value to agriculture startups and ecosystem in large.
- Work for outreach, scouting, evaluating, selection, on boarding, mentoring and managing the quality and innovative start-ups.
- Responsible for the proper documentation, tracking and compliances and reporting of the startups to the CEO.
- Explore, collaborate and align Pusa Krishi incubator in the ecosystem to facilitate new business avenues in India and international markets.
Selection Process
- Interview will be conducted only in person/Physical presence only.
- The selection will be on the basis of educational qualifications, relevant experience and followed by Interview process.
- Only the candidates meeting essential qualifications, experience and age will be called for interview.
- Selected candidates will be informed by e-mail to appear for interview on 24.06.2022.
