About the Organisation:

  • The Maharashtra Arthik Vikas Mahamandal (MAVIM) is a government agency dedicated to women’s development throughout the Indian state of Maharashtra.

Position:

  • District Project Consultant

Job Locations:

  • Pune Region: Solapur, Satara, Sangli
  • Aurangabad Region: Osmanabad, Latur, Beed, Jalna, Parbhani, Hingoli
  • Nashik Region: Nandurbar, Nashik, Dhule
  • Konkan Region: Palghar

Objectives of Assignment:

  • Join SPC Management in collaboration with MAVIM for a fulfilling role as a full-time District Project Consultant.
  • This opportunity involves working in Rural District offices across Maharashtra, with a current duration of 24 months, extendable based on performance.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Graduate in BSc Agriculture/ Horticulture/ B.Tech – Agri (Compulsory) or post-graduate degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Marketing, Financing (Preferred).
  • Minimum of 4 years of work experience in Government, semi-government, private sector, NGO – MFI, or rural development projects.
  • Experience with MAVIM is preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in value chain implementation projects.

Job Responsibilities:

As a District Project Consultant, you will:

  • Identify opportunities for value chain development (farm/non-farm) in the district.
  • Provide support for standalone businesses and skill development in the district.
  • Assist District and CMRCs in designing value chain projects.
  • Monitor Value Chain projects, taking corrective actions in coordination with DCO and with approval from Manager (VCD).
  • Prepare progress reports and coordinate with all private sector partners of VCs in the districts.

Consultancy Fees:

  • Up to Rs.40,000/ per month, subject to service tax deduction.
