Responsibilities:

As a Data Science Intern at SONY India, your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with research scientists and team members on cutting-edge research, especially in recommender systems and related areas.
  • Identifying patterns and analyzing and interpreting data effectively.
  • Coding and testing the validity of new algorithms.

Required Skills:

Must-Have:

  • Strong experience in Python 3.x.
  • Good understanding of Deep Learning concepts.
  • Proficiency in Pytorch/Tensorflow and git repositories.
  • Research experience and the ability to read research papers and implement available repositories.

Good to Have:

  • Experience in Graph-based machine learning and Graph Neural Networks (GNNs).
  • Knowledge of other network types.
  • Previous experience in Recommendation Systems.
  • The ability to conduct swift literature surveys for research ideas.

Education:

  • Ph.D. or Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or data science-related fields.

Duration:

  • 6 months starting from September 25th, 2023.
  • Full-time role from 9:00 IST to 18:00 IST (Monday to Friday).
