CSIR CASE 2023 Vacancy
- There are a total number 444 of vacancies for the post of Assistant Section Officer (ASO) and Section Officer (SO) under the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research.
CSIR CASE 2023 Eligibility Criteria
- Eligibility criteria for the post of SO and ASO under the CSIR in terms of educational qualification and age limit are as follows:
- Educational Qualification: To apply for for the post of Assistant Section Officer (ASO) or Section Officer (SO), an individual must have pursued Bachelor’s degree.
- Age Limit: One’s age must not be below 18 and above 33 years as of January 12, 2023.
CSIR CASE 2023 Application Fee
- To apply online for the post of SO and ASO under the CSIR and sit the Combined Administrative Services Examination 2023, an individual will have to pay the application fee of 500 rupees through debit card, credit card, NET banking or UPI, if he or she belongs to UR, OBC or EWS.
- Note: SC, ST, PWD, ESM and Female won’t have to pay any fee to apply online.

- Exam pattern for Combined Administrative Services Examination 2023, which is going to be held by the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research in February 2024 are as follows:

- General Awareness: 100 objective type questions
- English Language & Comprehension: 50 objective type questions
- Marking Scheme:
- 1 mark for each correct answer
- Negative marking: 0.33 (⅓) mark will be deducted for each incorrect response.
- Total Marks: 150
- Time Duration: 2:00 Hours (120 Minutes)

- English Language & Comprehension
- Number of Questions:
- Paper II: General Intelligence, Reasoning, and Mental Ability:
- Number of Questions: 200 objective type questions
- Marking Scheme:
- 1 mark for each correct answer
- Negative marking: ⅓ will be deducted for each incorrect response
- Total Marks: 200
- Time Duration: 2:30 Hours (150 Minutes)
