Position Overview:

As an Associate, SRH, you will play a crucial role in advancing CHAI’s mission by leading the design and implementation of programs focused on enhancing access to safe abortion care services in India. The role also involves addressing other SRH priorities, such as comprehensive abortion care, sexual health, and family planning services. This position requires a proactive and strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and managerial oversight for key grant deliverables in collaboration with the Program Manager.
  • Develop strong working relationships with government officials, donors, and partners to ensure effective coordination of resources and efforts.
  • Lead data analytics for the project, including forecasting tools, stock monitoring, graphical dashboards, and project management tools.
  • Conduct primary and secondary research, stakeholder interviews, and end-user studies to gather vital evidence and insights for improving SRH services.
  • Assess the landscape of suppliers and retailers involved in the distribution of medical abortion drugs and support strategies to bridge gaps.
  • Coordinate project-wide outputs related to execution, implementation, reporting, compliance, and updates.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders in the SRH ecosystem, including donors, partners, and relevant government departments.
  • Support the Program Manager in identifying and defining WJCF’s overall strategy for various project areas.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Economics, Public Health, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in demanding, results-oriented environments in the public and/or private sector.
  • Excellent analytical skills (qualitative and quantitative) and strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently on complex projects in a high-pressure environment.
  • Exceptional diplomatic and interpersonal skills with fluency in English and Hindi.
  • Previous experience in advanced analytics projects, management consulting, or the pharmaceutical industry is advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel as and when required.
