About the Organization
We are a fast-growing Bay Area-based company backed by leading investors like Accel Partners, Y-Combinator & Menlo Ventures. Every year, we are growing nearly 5x in revenue and launching disruptive enterprise products.
Consumer data in the financial services ecosystem today is insufficient, inaccurate, delayed, and lossy because systems and platforms have not been updated for 20-odd years. This translates to a frustrating experience for consumers and an increase in global delinquent debt, with an opaque system managing and servicing the debt. We are building a large financial intelligence network to service and improve the global debt ecosystem with insights from communications between lenders and consumers.
We have built <20% of our product vision and are looking for an APM who can help us build it faster and further. Our current focus is to leverage conversational intelligence data to solve hard-hitting and pressing pain points in the financial services world.
What will you be doing?
- Ideate, Execute, Iterate & Ideate 💡 Ideate, execute, iterate, ideate. This mantra is the very core of the Product ethos at Prodigal. With one foot with the Customer Success & Growth teams and the other with the Engineering teams, Prodigal offers its APMs the opportunity to resonate with customer problems first-hand while scoping the problems into the brackets of available technological expertise & resources at hand and turning them into visionary product ideas and delivering on the vision with flawless execution.
- Set the Pace 🏃 If you move fast, Prodigal moves fast. You are the quarterback. Shepherding the team to meet aggressive deadlines while moderating customer expectations is a consistent conundrum in an APM’s life. An Associate Product Manager with us will always have multiple balls in the air at the same time; prioritizing and expectation-setting become critical.
- Growth 📈 With Prodigal, as an APM, you are the Product Owner. Building the product is just half the battle won. Given that we function in a low-tech industry, the onus of selling futuristic products and getting the customers to adopt it is on the Product Manager. Stepping into the shoes of our customers to empathize with their problems and working hand in hand with their growth teams, are some of the most frequent levers you would need to pull, to excel as an APM at Prodigal.
