The National Maritime Foundation (NMF) is amongst India’s premier think-tanks and is the foremost resource-centre for the development and advocacy of strategies for the promotion and protection of India’s maritime interests.

Position: 

• Associate Fellow- Indian Maritime Policy in the Indo-Pacific
• Associate Fellow- India’s transition from ‘Brown’ to a ‘Blue’ Economy
• Associate Fellow- European Union (EU) in the Indian Ocean Region (IOR)
• Associate Fellow- Marine Technical Facets of India in the Indo-Pacific

Location

• New Delhi

Educational Qualification

• Have a PhD degree in the physical-sciences, life-sciences, social-sciences, or humanities, from a recognised university in India or abroad
• OR PhD student in the in the physical-sciences, life-sciences, social-sciences, or humanities, from a recognised university in India or abroad AND have already submitted your PhD thesis but are waiting to defend it.
• OR Have an MPhil degree in the physical-sciences, life-sciences, social-sciences, or humanities, from a recognised university in India or abroad, are not intending to try for a PhD degree AND have meaningful work-experience in a policy/ research/ academic environment.

Compensation

• Compensation will be by way of an all-told Professional Fee payable on a monthly basis and will be commensurate with prevailing standards in respect of think-tanks in the National Capital Region. 
• The lower end of the compensation-band is Rs 38,000/- per month, which would be adjusted upwards depending upon qualifications and experience.
