Job Summary

Boeing India Engineering seeks Associate Digital ASIC – FPGA Design Engineer to support the Hardware Design Capabilities organization across multiple product lines and platforms like Satellites, space and aviation.

Position Responsibilities

  • Assists with the development and documentation of electronic and electrical system requirements.
  • Develops or modifies basic hardware and software designs based on defined requirements.
  • Performs system tests to verify operational and functional requirements. Assists in monitoring suppliers’ performance to ensure compliance with requirements.
  • Supports resolution of product integration issues and production anomalies. Researches basic technologies for potential application to company business needs.
  • The Boeing Center in India is looking for experienced Electrical & Electronics Engineer to support and Liaison for a variety of aerospace programs.
  • Electrical & Electronics Engineering candidate(s) will work with cross-functional teams supporting work packages coming from Boeing, USA. Relevant experience associated with the following technical competencies is highly desired:
  • This position involves working as a member of the Test Requirements Document (TRD) development team on the Program.
  • Major responsibilities include all aspects of TRD development including but not limited to reviewing and dis positioning supplier source data for completeness.
  • Identifying/layout of the Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) configurations with respect to Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) as well as the overall system level, writing detailed semi-complex CCA theory of operations.
  • Developing associated block diagrams, developing overall test strategy, developing performance and diagnostic tests to detect and fault isolate to the failed component(s) to meet program fault isolation requirements.
  • This position requires supporting Boeing US team by assisting them in answering TRD questions and resolving test integration issues during the test program set development cycle

Required Skills

  • Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
  • 0-5 years’ of experience in Digital ASIC design.
  • Work experience using VHDL, Verliog or SystemVerilog.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years’ experience in digital ASIC/FPGA/digital circuit design, Master’s degree with 3 years’ experience in digital design, or PhD degree with relevant years of experience in digital design.
  •  Knowledge in design of RTL code from requirements, reporting status to program management.
  • Able to work with other engineering teams (e.g. board designers, system engineers, requirement engineers, reliability engineers, microprocessor/software engineers), to ensure the ASIC/FPGA functions safely and reliably when deployed by assisting in Worst Case Circuit Analysis, IO timing, IO type selection, life analysis, software con-ops, MTBF analysis, etc.
  • Able to creating and improving department process guidelines and procedures (e.g. engineering standards, checklists, process flows, etc.).
  • Support in evaluating and recommending technology that is new to the organization.
  • Support in development of architectural approaches from customer and system requirements.
  • Understanding with SOI FPGA design process

Salary

  • ₹1,07,618 – ₹1,10,586 per month.
