Applications are now open for the 6th International Istanbul Fellowship Program which will be held from 9 March 2021 to 11 March 2021 in Istanbul, Turkey. Interested applicants can submit their applications for the International Istanbul Fellowship Program.
The International Istanbul Fellowship Program is organized on an annual basis by the Turkish Press and Publishers Copyright & Licensing Society and is made possible with sponsorship and support from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. This program brings together publishers and stakeholders from around the world in Istanbul for copyright and translation negotiations with the main aim of improving and exchanging ideas and learning from different Publisher managers, editors, copyright agencies, professional publishing associations, and publisher non-governmental organizations.

Due to disruptions caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, some of the meetings will be held face to face, and some events will be held online to keep the internship and its participants as safe as possible. The program will be held on 9-10-11 March 2021 through a mixture of live and online events. Towards the end of this year’s program, the Istanbul Fellowship Awards will be given out for the first time in honor of the influential individuals and institutions in the publishing world.

If you are Successfully selected for the Istanbul Fellowship Program, you will be provided with one of the three different support packages described below
The Golden Support Package:
- A plane ticket for a Round Trip / Economy Class to and from your country for residence
- You will receive accommodation for the period of the internship
- You will participate in seminars and business meetings
- Recipients of this support package will receive Translation support during meetings
- You will be provided with breakfast, lunch, and dinner provided throughout the program
- Applicants will benefit from Airport pick up and drop off service
The Silver Support Package:
- You will benefit from a 4 nights’ accommodation
- Participants will receive Breakfast, lunch, and dinner provided throughout the program
- There will be provisions for Airport pick up and drop off service to participants
- You will benefit from translation support during meetings
- Applicants will participate in seminars and business meetings
The Bronze Support Package:
- Lunch and dinner provided throughout the program to selected participants
- There will be provisions for Airport pick up and drop off service
- You will participate in seminars and business meetings
- Translation support services during meetings
Eligibilities
- All applicants from all over the world are welcome and encouraged to apply
