5th ASEF Young Leaders Summit 2023 in Spain | Fully Funded

The Asia Europe Foundation (ASEF) is now accepting applications for the Fully Funded 5th ASEF Young Leaders Summit 2023 in Spain. This leadership program aims to empower youth and provide them with the tools to contribute to society. Join us on this transformative journey!

Phases of ASEFYLS5:

The 5th ASEF Young Leaders Summit 2023 is divided into three phases:

• Virtual Knowledge Building Phase (3 – 28 August 2023) : A deep exploration into Leadership and Society 5.0 through different training. 
• Youth Summit (12 – 16 September 2023) in Salamanca, Spain: People exchange with each other, network, and learn in the local context.
• Leadership in Action Virtual Phase (September – December 2023) : Turning theory into action, a collaboration between participants to create solutions for real-life challenges.

Eligibility criteria for the 5th ASEF Young Leaders Summit in Spain:

• Young people from Asian and European countries can apply for this program.
• Applicants should be between 18-30 years.
• Applicants should have strong verbal and written command of English language. 
• Young people from any academic background or discipline are eligible. 
• Applicants should be committed and enthusiastic about working with an intercultural, interdisciplinary team.
• Applicants should be keen to learn more about Society 5.0 and be able to exchange ideas with their peers from across Asia & Europe.
• Furthermore, they must commit to join and engage in 8 virtual Knowledge Building virtual sessions with individual tasks. 
• Applicants should commit to joining and engaging in the 5-day on-site Youth Summit program in Salamanca, Spain. 
• Last but most importantly, they should commit to joining and engaging in the opening and closing Leadership in Action Phase virtual sessions. 

Benefits of the Fully funded 5th ASEF Young Leaders Summit 2023 in Spain:

• ASEF Foundation will cover all the costs of selected participants.
• There is no registration or participation fee.
• The fully funded summit will cover accommodation. 
• It will also provide meals for the participants. 
• Participants will also get a travel subsidy to attend the summit. 
• In addition, a visa support letter, if needed. 
• Participants will also get an opportunity to make networks, collaborate and learn with each other, and speak their young voices. 
• Participants will get a chance to visit Spain for free. 

ASEF Youth Leadership Summit Application Deadline: 

• The last date to apply for the fully funded 5th ASEF Young Leaders Summit in Spain is 9 July 2023. 
• Applicants will get their application outcome through email by 24 July 2023.
