Job Summary:

Are you a results-oriented, customer-focused individual with a passion for sales and relationship-building? We are seeking a Business Development Manager for our Business Clients division to drive growth and deepen customer relationships. This role requires proactive selling, meeting sales targets, and providing exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities:

Business Drivers:

  • Achieve personal sales targets through customer-focused needs-based selling.
  • Focus on acquiring new High-Value Segment (HVS) customer relationships, addressing their financial needs related to Assets, Liabilities, Insurance, and Investments.
  • Cross-sell a range of products to deepen customer relationships.

Customer Experience:

  • Ensure operational quality by meticulously handling customer applications and documentation.
  • Responsively engage in sales, demonstrating appropriate marketing skills.
  • Strive for zero customer complaints.

Risk Assurance:

  • Diligently conduct Customer Due Diligence (CDD), Monitor List (MLP), and Treating Customers Fairly (TCF).
  • Uphold a zero-tolerance policy towards fraud and mis-selling.
  • Attend training sessions to enhance knowledge and apply it to job functions.
  • Adhere to policies, guidelines, procedures, and local regulatory requirements.

Strategy:

  • Align with country Priority Clients business objectives by adopting a customer-focused, needs-based selling approach.
  • Deepen customer relationships to maximize penetration and value.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate degree; MBA qualification is advantageous.
  • Minimum 1-year sales experience in the Retail Banking Industry, especially in Home Loans, Wealth, and Savings Accounts.
  • Preferred certifications: AMFI, IRDA, and other relevant qualifications.
  • Strong understanding of the selected market and customer segments.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a proven ability to influence outcomes.
  • Strong interpersonal skills fostering enthusiasm and team spirit.

Technical Competencies:

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
