About the Organisation:

Sewa International, initiated in 1993, emerged as a global movement to engage the Indian Diaspora (NRI) worldwide. The organization encourages individuals to stay connected with their Indian roots by contributing to humanitarian causes, both locally and in India. This commitment is especially evident during natural calamities such as floods, earthquakes, cyclones, tsunamis, pandemics, where large-scale distress requires significant resources for recovery. The movement has expanded globally, reaching more than 25 countries.

Established in 1997 as a registered non-profit trust in India, Sewa International operates based on the Indian ethos of ‘Service before Self’ and “World is One Family.” Throughout its existence, Sewa International has been dedicated to serving humanity in times of distress, transcending barriers of caste, creed, color, religion, race, or region.

About the Opportunity:

  • Title: Marketing Intern
  • Duration: January to April
  • Location: New Delhi. Full Time.
  • Reporting to: Coordinator, Marketing

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Students and Graduates from any field can apply.
  • Pursuing or completing studies in Marketing, Communications, or related fields is advantageous.
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills.
  • Effective communication skills for both internal and external stakeholder engagement.
  • Creativity in content curation and a keen understanding of digital marketing.
  • Active technological comfort, including proficiency in relevant tools and platforms.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Outreach Coordination: Coordinate outreach activities to enhance the organization’s visibility and engagement. Collaborate with external stakeholders for social media and media outreach, fostering relationships and maximizing impact.
  • Word of Mouth Outreach: Engage internal stakeholders to amplify outreach through word-of-mouth strategies.
  • Content Curation: Curate compelling content for outreach via WhatsApp and Email, ensuring relevance and resonance with the audience.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate with the communications team to integrate visuals and create captivating content for marketing initiatives.
  • Technological Comfort: Actively engage with and leverage technology for efficient outreach strategies.
