4S works on following themes: Responsible Livelihoods, Institutional Development Services, Agri- Business Development Services, Financial Inclusion Services, Disaster Management & Climate Change, Preventive Health & Nutrition, Women Rights & Entitlements & Natural Resource Management
Roles and Responsibilities
- Project implementation
- Mobilization of farmers
- Facilitate convergence with different government schemes
- Conduct training sessions with Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) and facilitate relevant linkages
- Documentation of best practices
- Facilitate marketing & sales of FPOs agri and related products
- Guide and supervise the team
- Leverage existing networks, and those facilitated through partners to create the required market channels and linkages to enable a robust business model.
- Regularly report on the improvements and impact of project interventions
- Identifying and building a partnership with local communities, FPO’s/FPC, NGOs, and various government departments/ agencies
- Liasoning with Central and state Government agencies, Banks and other financial institutions
- Any other task assigned time to time
Eligibility
- Master’s in Agriculture/Horticulture/ Rural Management /MBA from reputed educational institutions
- At least 5 years of experience in marketing and sales of agri commodities
- Experience of working with Farmer Producer organizations
