Samagra is a mission-driven governance consulting firm. We co-work with the bureaucratic leadership across states on long-term systemic transformation programmes cutting across governance domains.
Since our inception in 2012, our mission has been ‘improving the quality of life of citizens through better governance’ through our work. We combine a top-down management consulting approach for problem structuring with a bottom-up understanding of the governance ecosystem for designing solutions, while leveraging data and technology to enable implementation of our solutions.

About the Role:
On a programme, Emerging Leaders@ Samagra become initiative owners from the get-go. Initiatives are mini-projects within the overall program. They are provided support and guidance from the program leadership.
Typically, their responsibilities would include:
- Developing deep understanding of problem statement (primary and secondary research)
- Driving problem-solving to design effective and implementable solutions
- Managing end-to-end implementation of assigned initiatives
- Engaging with govt leaders, non-profit partners, funders, domain experts, beneficiaries
Eligibility:
- Must have >4 years of prior work experience
- MBA from premier colleges (Indian and abroad)
- 2+ years of experience in one of the following roles:
- Management Consulting with top tier consulting firms (McKinsey/Bain/BCG)
- Strategy/Operations role in FMCG companies
- Category/P&L manager in high growth series A/B start-ups
- Chief of Staff or Entrepreneur-in-Residence or Founders Office
- Excellent record of leadership in academic / professional setting
- Evidence of demonstrated drive in academic or professional experience
- Strong problem-solving with an on-ground implementation lens
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Knack for analysis – qualitative and quantitative
- Strong communication skills – oral and written
- Willingness to travel

- Total compensation is competitive by industry standards and is negotiable
- Insurance: Group health insurance with a cover of upto 3 Lakh
- Other benefits: Expenses incurred towards accommodation, food and travel at the client location are taken care of by the firm. Accommodation is arranged in well-furnished guest houses maintained by the firm across all client locations
