Applications are invited for the position of Programme Officer – Advocacy to be located in our office in Delhi.

Requirements:

  • Graduate / Post Graduate with Law/ Public Policy/ Data Analytics
  • 0 – 2 years experience preferably in advocacy, policy, and research.
  • Understanding of disability and disability issues, development and inclusion.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and manage multiple demands whilst maintaining an organized working environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Flexibility to undertake a range of tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Assistant Programme Managers, NCPEDP in planning, developing & implementing projects.
  • Liaoning with Ministries, Departments, Government officials and Gram Panchayat.
  • Tracking government policies, schemes, etc. on disability issues.
  • Coordinating with partners, disabled rights organizations.
  • Coordinating consultations, seminars, meetings, etc. at the National, Zonal and State levels as required.
  • Providing research support as and when required.
  • All other related duties as and when required.
  • Applicants should be willing to travel and should be flexible and open to working all days depending on work exigencies.

Remuneration

  • Salary will commiserate with qualifications and experience.
