About the Opportunity:
Relationship Associate, Milaap is seeking highly motivated individuals looking to join our Inside Sales team. The Relationship Associate will be the first point of contact from Milaap for people looking to raise funds for their causes.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent with 0-1 year work experience in a client/customer facing role. Prior internships working in small, customer-centric teams is a strong plus.
- Empathy for Strangers: You genuinely care about people and want to help them. You relate to someone who might be going through a difficult time and interact with them personally in a unique case.
- Power of Persuasion: Your ability to influence should help organizers overcome their fears and hesitancy around raising fund and seek help.
- Excellent communication – You can effectively engage with internal teams and campaigners. Over 80% of your time will be spent over telephonic/whatsapp conversations engaging with organizers.
- Resourcefulness and Creative thinking: You can come up with ideas to execute for any given situation irrespective of the constraints.
- Organizational and Problem Solving – You are super organized and can effectively prioritize multiple tasks during the day.
- Multilingual – Ability to speak and fluently in one regional language apart from English and Hindi is required.
- Strong commitment to ethics, honesty, and integrity in conducting business.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Make minimum 100/120 calls in a day (depending on the handling time and connectivity of the calls)
- Assist people in setting up fundraisers for their causes
- Help campaign organizers with their queries about Milaap, the process of fundraising
- Understand the progress in various causes with respective campaign organisers and keep the donors informed via sending out regular updates to them.
