Kshamtalaya Foundation is a section 8 nonprofit company founded to support children achieve their true potential. Kshamtalaya since its inception has worked in three states i.e. Rajasthan, Karnataka and New Delhi in partnership with the respective governments.

Job Description

As a Program Lead, you will be responsible for developing relationships with the SCERT and other government bodies to explore expansion of the program. You will be driving the vision of enabling the education system by sharing tools, practices and implementation to support the ongoing effort of the government. The Program Lead will also be actively engaged in designing and innovating programs along with the government. Along with this, the Program lead will be responsible for leading the Whole School Transformation project in EDMC, ensuring the timely review and progress of the project in partnership with the School and the Project team.

Program Roles and Responsibilities

  • Developing relationships with the SCERT and Delhi government for program expansion.
  • Developing strategic plans in alignment with the vision of the organisation.
  • Drive the vision of excellence classrooms along with the program facilitators and school team.
  • Coordinate the multiple facets of programmatic activity including Student holistic learning, Teacher training and coaching, Community Leadership and partnerships – to ensure coordinated implementation.
  • Working closely with Kshamtalaya’s anchor team to share best practices and collectively inform the organisational vision.

Culture Development

  • Managing and coaching the team members towards ambitious outcomes
  • Driving engagement, growth, and retention of team members.
  • Engineering and overseeing a monitoring and evaluation system, coupled with strategic direction, to guide collective abilities to continuously improve.

Education and Experience

  • A Bachelor’s Degree/Masters’ degree in Education or related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience or being part of a fellowship.
  • In addition, a minimum of 2 years of experience in an instructional leadership role, working with partners and the governance with strong results.
  • Experience in managing teams of 5-7 people or more preferred.

Skills

  • Ability to see and think in systems while analyzing and solving problems.
  • Effective planning and time management skills.
  • Effective organizational and project management skills and ability to meet multiple deadlines.
  • Effective delegation, coordination and negotiation skills.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in both Hindi and English will be given preference.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and Canva, or any other design tools.

Compensation

  • INR 45,000 – 50,000 per month.

Location

  • Based in East Delhi and willing to travel to other locations when required.
