Rocket Learning is a ed-tech and media focused social enterprise, building a product to support low-income communities with education for their children. The leadership consists of alumni from IIM-A, Harvard, IIT, St. Xavier’s, University of Rochester and other top institutes with experience of founding and leading organisations in the startup and social enterprise sectors. Day in the life
In this role you’ll get
- Exposure to government systems of early grades education, and ability to liaison with them on a regular basis.
- Develop a better understanding of the education system, through generating insights from teachers, parents and children.
- Hone and improve your data analytic skills by translating data from the field into actionable insight.
- Opportunity to innovate using cutting edge technology and social media to build communities of low-income parents.
- Exposure to elite researchers and experimental studies with researchers at JPAL and other institutes.
Must-have skills
On day one we’ll expect you to…
- Ability to work with and coordinate between government officials.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Experience working in education or other areas of social impact.
- Comfort with basic technology – MS word, MS Excel
