About the Organisation
Eklavya is a non-government registered society that was set up in 1982 to actively seed and develop academic programmes for curricular change in elementary education at the micro level, and mainstream them through government and non-government agencies.
Under the Publications Programme, in addition to development and publication of books for students, teachers and parents in various genre, Eklavya publishes three magazines – a monthly for children called Chakmak; Sandarbh for teachers and high school students; and Srote a science and technology feature service.

About the Internship
- Position: Technical Internship
- Segment – Bulk Scanning
- Location – Bhopal
- Duration – 3 to 4 months
- Stipend – Rs 8000/- (In addition Stay and Food will be taken care of)
- Commencement – Immediate
Expectations
- Undertaking Scanning documents/Books/Magazines
- Learning to use State of Art Scanner with automated functions.
- OCR of Scanned material
- Contributing to other segments of publication and other Eklavya programmes
Skills required:
- Computer Proficiency: Should be able to work extensively on digital content
- Detail oriented: Knack for catching the most trivial of errors, along with the most glaring.
- Multitasking: Expected to manage and prioritize multiple projects at once.
Desirables:
- Facility with electronic devices and softwares
- Good communication and team-work skills
- Reasonable command over English and Hindi.
- Knowledge of Indesign and other software would be useful.
- Working Knowledge related to web interface would be useful.
