About Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan and SMILE scheme
Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan is a campaign against substance abuse in 272 districts, identified as most vulnerable in terms of drug usage.
The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment has formulated an umbrella scheme named “SMILE – Support for Marginalized Individuals for Livelihood and Enterprise”. The scheme would cover several comprehensive measures including welfare measures for both transgender persons and persons who are engaged in the act of begging with focus extensively on rehabilitation, provision of medical facilities, counseling, education, skill development, economic linkages etc with the support of State Governments/UTs/Local Urban Bodies, Voluntary Organizations, Community Based Organizations (CBOs) and institutions and others
About the Internship
We are looking for social media interns (3) who can successfully help us create a standard and original templates and designs for the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan and SMILE scheme.

Roles and Responsibilities
- A professional who can conceptualise themes and concepts into a proper template to meet the expectations of the editorial board and NMBA Social media team within a designated time frame.
- Might be able to trim and edit videos, use dialogue, sound effects, graphics and special effects to produce small videos.
Ability to take directions from written or spoken ideas and convert them seamlessly into images, layouts and other designs for the e-newsletter and as deemed necessary.
Desirable Skills
- Prior engagement with other organisations or projects in similar domains.
- Familiarity with design softwares and technologies such as Photoshop,InDesign, Illustrator and Dreamweaver.
- In-depth knowledge of typography, colour, space, iconography, patterns,layouts, visual hierarchy and imagery with a keen eye for aesthetics anddetails.
- Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines.
Remuneration
- A remuneration of Rs 8000/- per month including a certificate of appreciation/recognition would also be given after the successful completion of internship.
- Note: This internship is for 2 months initially and might get extended on the basis of project requirements and performance.
