About the Job
- The Political Intelligence Unit (PIU) at IPAC is dedicated to detecting the political pulse of various demographic, geographic, and legislative entities.
- Through rigorous primary and secondary research initiatives, political liaising, and unique ground-level networking with relevant stakeholders, the PIU collects qualitative and quantitative data to deconstruct electoral dynamics, ground realities, and socio-political narratives. Our team works at the intersection of qualitative and quantitative information to gather political acumen and provide original and independent political insights.
- The PIU is responsible for translating these data points into a comprehensive repository that offers a 360-degree overview of the political campaign at hand. We also provide key suggestions to improve the tenacity of decision-making processes during the campaign, making us an essential resource for political stakeholders seeking neutral perspectives and political insights.
Job Overview
As a part of I-PAC’s PIU Team you will:
- First-hand insight into the workings of the political spectrum in its complexity
- Understanding the intricacies of the Indian political system in terms of expectation Vs reality
- Hone your decision-making, analytical thinking, and time management skills in the highly demanding yet suitably rewarding work environment
Minimum Qualifications:
- Full-time Post Graduate or UnderGraduate in Policy/Research Background/Law & Legal Studies
- Awareness about various research methods like focus group discussions, survey methods, ethnographic studies
- Working experience in development sector, policy and research think tanks, government, NGO and social sector within a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Must possess good analytical skills and the ability to translate raw information into actionable strategies and initiatives
- Proficient in the use of MS Office suite specifically
- Must possess good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Interest in politics would be preferred and a great add on
- An ability to multitask tasks of various nature from documentation, research, excel analytics, presentation, networking
Location:
- Delhi (Shall be open to travel as per business requirement). Only onboarding would be done in Delhi and you’d have to move to other location once that is done.
